Now I’ve heard people mentioning that if your passport is within 6 months of expiring you will be denied boarding… I queried this with the security guard – he says it is true. Your passport must be valid for 6 months or longer – I then enquired why it has an expiry date and why it can’t be used till the date of expiry? He laughed, and told me “for that, I do not have an answer. I’ve been told to check for 6 months.”
